How to Use a Global Weidian Spreadsheet Without Saving Weak Finds

A spreadsheet can organize links. It cannot replace the judgment needed to interpret photos, sizing, source clues, price context or shipping weight.

The short version

Treat the sheet as an index, not a verdict. Pick one category, compare a few similar rows and keep only the ones you could explain to someone else without repeating the row’s sales language.

What a product spreadsheet is good for

Most product sheets are shared lists that place a name, category, picture, price note and source link on one line. That is handy when you want to scan many possibilities without opening a dozen tabs.

The row still leaves important questions unanswered. It cannot tell you whether the sizing will work, whether the photos show the current item, whether the seller’s page has changed or what the packed parcel may cost.

Why a spreadsheet is only a starting point

Short labels compress uncertainty. “Good quality,” “popular” or “best” may sound decisive, yet none tells you what was inspected or when. Even a tidy row can be weak if it lacks measurements, useful angles or a source link that matches the description.

Treat the sheet as a map. It points toward pages worth opening. The destination page, recent photos, size information and current policies still need separate checks.

Signs that someone is still looking after the sheet

Look for working source links, dates beside recent checks, clear categories and notes that say what was actually compared. A smaller sheet with honest gaps is easier to trust than a huge one filled with confident labels and no review history.

How to read a row before opening the link

  1. Read the category. Make sure the label matches what the row actually shows.
  2. Identify the decision detail. For footwear that may be sizing and sole shape; for clothing, garment measurements; for electronics, compatibility and specifications.
  3. Look for evidence, not adjectives. Useful photos and measurements are stronger than hype.
  4. Place the price beside similar rows. A number without comparable items or shipping context is incomplete.
  5. Note what is unknown. An honest shortlist keeps open questions visible.

Give every saved link a job

It is easier to compare five jackets than five unrelated products. Once the category is fixed, the same questions apply to every row and missing information becomes much easier to spot.

A saved link should have a job: it might offer clearer measurements, stronger QC photo angles, a more relevant source page or a better explanation of what is included. If two links do the same job, keep the clearer one.

When Yupoo, Taobao, Weidian or 1688 matter

These names can describe the source environment behind a row. Yupoo is often used for image albums. Taobao and Weidian commonly appear as marketplace links. 1688 is associated with wholesale-oriented listings. The source term helps you understand what kind of page may open; it is not a quality grade.

An “original link” or “raw link” generally means the source URL before another service reformats or routes it. A link converter can make a URL easier to open in a compatible service, but conversion does not inspect the item, seller, photos or policies.

Category-first browsing

Start with a stable product question. Shoes need different photos from bags. Jackets need different measurements from watches. Comparing rows inside one category makes missing information easier to see and prevents an unusually low price in one product type from distorting another.

Begin with the object, not the label

Start with shoes, bags, watches, jackets, hoodies or accessories. Once the product type is clear, you can judge the photos and measurements on their own merits instead of being pulled along by a familiar name.

Strong row vs weak row

Stronger row

Correct category, several useful photo angles, visible measurements, relevant source link, price compared with similar items and a note about likely weight.

Weaker row

Vague label, one promotional image, no size details, unexplained price, unclear link destination and no reason to save it beyond popularity.

When to continue to Findsindex

Open Findsindex when you know the category and the one detail you still need. It is another place to browse current pages, so check the listing again before keeping anything on your shortlist.
